North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency deployed personnel to help monitor road closure in several checkpoints during Emergency PPKM.

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Personnel, Triyanto mentioned, four personnel were deployed on Jalan Boulevard Ra ya and five personnel on Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter regarding road closure during Emergency PPKM.

"We assist to guard checkpoints in order to restrict people's mobility. Not only personnel, but we also deploy pump tank unit (challenger) with capacity 2,500 liters," he said, Wednesday (7/14).

According to him, Gulkarmat personnel on the field collaborated with officers from Transportation Sub-agency, TNI, and police.

"This collaboration was carried out to restrict people's mobility during Emergency PPKM in order to minimize COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
